SKIN TWO North 2012 -
Skin Two North is now in its fourth year as the biggest fetish gathering in the North of England. The venue is booked and we're set to go – put September 1st in your diary!
Our MC is the fabulous Rosie Lugosi of Lash in Manchester, star of Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Berlin and the North's number one lesbian vampire poet and perv queen. There will be shows, including fashion performances by Cathouse & Arcanum Accessories, other, designers & Performance Artists Also guest DJ's to keep you dancing late into the night.
There will be a fully equipped dungeon by Nemesis. We are pleased to confirm new partners for Skin Two North 2012 are **Nemesis** who will be promoting the event and *Club Dominion* who will be in charge of production.
For 2012, we're at a great new venue - VOX which is a contemporary event space very near Leeds city centre and just off Junc 3 of the M621 motorway.
• Venue address: Vox, New Craven Gate, Leeds, UK, LS11 5NF Parking is no problem.
• Times: 9.00 pm till 3 am. The venue will have 3 main zones all on ground floor level
• Zone One - Perfomance & Dance area & Bar • Zone Two - Main Bar, Chill Out / Retail area. • Zone Three - will be the the Play Area
Tickets to Skin Two North 2012 are £15 in advance (£20 on the door). Tickets will soon be available at outlets including Lash in Manchester, Cathouse Clothing. Via the Dominion team at the Birmingham, Bizarre Bazaar Dominion in Derby, Compliance events and Hull Fet. Watch this space for more ways to get tickets...

Bewleys Hotel is reasonable and only about 10 mins walk from the venue

One of the essential ingredients of previous Skin Two Norths has been the chance to shop and socialise on the same day as the main event.
I can confirm there will be a Daytime Market at the same venue, VOX.
A list of traders will be available soon.
Times: 11am till 4 pm
Adm is FREE if you have an Advance ticket for the night which you need to bring with you but retain for entry on the night. Anyone who may not have an Advance ticket can still visit the day market and the admission is just £2.00
More details to follow. This is a great way to socialise or maybe shop for an outfit and get into the party mood for the night.

OK so you had a bad experience in London quite some time ago, GROW UP and GET OVER IT!!!
This is a different promotion team with a brilliant reputation (but then if you're from down south your parochialism won't have allowed you to experience their nights so why not give them the benefit if the doubt?) in a different city and if you'd done ANY research you'd have realised that Vox is a fully licensed venue not some ponsy house. As for rip-off bar prices at the event you went to it was in London so what do you expect? Oh and by the way event organisers very VERY rarely have any control over bar prices and even less often gain any benefit from them.
This may be Tim Woodward's last chance to regain some of his lost reputation but any grown-up would have waited until after ATTENDING the event to issue criticism (bearing in mind we IC-ers already know about your beef with SkinTwo) cos if (as my pals and me already clutching tickets and counting down the days are fully expecting) it turns out to be BRILLIANT then you'll look a chump.
So come on Northern Pervs lets give the Nemesis/Dominion team the support they deserve after all I've never heard of any of their nights being disasters of the first order. I'm still mourning the loss of their outstanding venue in West Yorkshire so I'm looking forward to seeing lots of the Nemesis kit all together again and playing on it obviously!!

Maybe you should take the time to consider the London event and Leeds are completely seperate nights and have very different teams behind them as pointed out by another kinkster, it really is unfair on the NEW organisers to make such comments.
Could i suggest that you take a little time to enquire about several different events brought to the community by the team behind this years event, Dominion, le chambre, hull fet, compliance. They all have a fantastic following and feedback, i myself have been to all but one of these events.
Maybe then an apology would be nice...

Thank you for being open minded. I think you will find the event to your liking. There are options to shop during the day at the Fetish Market, and enjoy a pre Ball drink in town early evening. Once you get to the evening event you can Socialise, Chill, More shopping, Dance, watch the fashion shows and Performances or enjoy the delights of the Play Area.

This years event has the potential to top the last 3 Skintwo North's easily. It's being ran by people who have been entrenched not only in the bdsm scene as a whole but in a very local sense too. For the first time it's 'one of us' that's got the gig. And surely that calls for some proper support whether you're able to attend or not.

I know the team behind this and they've put a lot of effort into it. Why not support it? The fetish scene up North needs all the support it can get.

I also thought the last two skin two events up north were shit, I will however, still be going to this one tho as the reputation of the nemesis team (a totally new team) is a good one, we need to show some support for northern events or we wont be getting any!

I've been advised by the Team that there are no food places nearby, since the venue is out of town, so you won't be able to nip out to a Subway, and get 5 Subs and a drink, although hopefully there will be plenty of subs at the venue.
There's no buffet, or bar snacks, so if you are inclined to get a little peckish, or need something for a late night journey home, then it might be wise to bring a sandwich, or snack bars, etc.
