Just a share and probably totally inaccurate stats but it made me chuckle though not in a nice way if correct.
Can you imagine working for a company that only has a little more than 635 employees, but, has the following employee statistics... 29 have been accused of spouse abuse 7 have been arrested for fraud 9 have been accused of writing bad cheques 17 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses ... ... 3 have done time for assault 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges 8 have been arrested for shoplifting 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits 84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year And collectively, this year alone, they have cost the British tax payer £92,993,748 in expenses Which organisation is this? Not it's not Contract Lincs It's the 635 members of the House of Commons.
The same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line
Thoughts please...please leave your pitchforks in reception.

There are 650 MPs, not 635.
I remember a very similar post some time ago which was about the US government, that one was full of inaccuracies and I expect this one is too.

The likely inaccuracy of this is pointed up by the phrase "defendants in law suits". So that's CIVIL claims then, alleged torts, not alleged crimes. Sounds like the compiler of this doesn't know the difference or understand civil law. Only "defendants in law suits" are mentioned not claimants in law suits. Why? The implication seems to be that defendants must have done something wrong, whereas claimants haven't. Where does this utter nonsense come from?

Just a suggestion - why don't you think more carefully when you post responses? Especially the responses you post at about 4 a.m. as those are the ones that seem to be the least informed? Don't make claims that cannot be substantiated, don't post on anything about which you know absolutely nothing, and don't post trying to put people down who are pointing out the flaws in your posts, as you are the one who ends up looking more of an idiot than usual.

My mistake for not knowing that site and therefore the individual is not a criminal.Appolgies @lush_london,Accusation withdrawn. Now back to the ponit. Now taking the figures of the orginal viral and using the real number of mp's in parliment, then deducting the total of mp's not allowed to stand. Now divided the total of the mp's by the number of three, the parties in parliment, and you get one hundred and twenty nine members for each party. For a party to form a majority government in election, the party must take thirty or more seats on top of its original qouta to win!If such a system was put to action it would need more civil servants, secretaries and office staff for each mp then is used now,in order to cope with the workload.I conclude it just would not as a system,cope..

I note that unwarranted and odious accusation of an individual being an "online criminal" has been withdrawn, though I've yet to see an apology for the accusation.
I suspect that posting libellous content isn't a crime (as it isn't contrary to criminal law), unless compounded by a component that exacerbates the unlawful act of libel that is itself a crime, so for example if a libellous statement also incited racial hatred, then that libel would become a crime?.
It doesn't stop it being wrong, potentially actionable (if the recipient is identifiable, and if they have long enough pockets, as libel won't be dealt with by a court below the High Court, so an unlawful act, but not neccessarily a criminal act). "Long pockets" might not be required ... Even Carter-Ruck's notes highlight the possibility of a CFA ("no win, no fee"), while those same notes specifically highlight falsely accusing someone of a crime as an example of defamation.
It is also likely contrary to the AUP, as if it is an incorrect accusation, it is likely to defame, and the AUP specifically prohibits defaming other users.

Back to thread. One of the problems of viral is that it would be not easy to find out if a mp was running a company.Quite a few parlimentaries hid behind fake names,i.e. two of the best thriller writers in the UK are members of parliment.Likewise if they set up a company then they not likely to use their real name.So that part of the viral does not really work. The rest of it needs the freedom of information act and you know its almost impossible to get information with a request under that act..

Are you familiar with a) The Companies Act 2006 and b) The Register of Members' Interests?
The Companies Act makes it a legal requirement for all company directors to have their names and addresses registered at Companies House where they can be searched by anyone.
The Register of Members' Interests requires all MPs and members of the House of Lords to declare any remuneration or goods they receive. A free meal is registrable as is book royalties,
Do you deliberately ignore facts and post random bollocks or are you just staggeringly ignorant?

I set a trap! You answered first part right.Yes you do have to register a company in your real name.I used to run a company under my real name. If you register a free lunch as book royalties then what is stop some journalist from any NI owned paper, starting up another "Duckhouse GATE"? Now where does Bohnanza say that you should register a free meal as a book royalty? he says that a free meal is registrable. The words "as is" means "AND" in this context so book royalties are also registrable.
He does not say that free meals are registrable AS book royalties.

I disagree totally. Clearly there are a number of machines which have the ability to exhibit behaviour more intelligent than some of the humans who post on this website. For example my vacuum cleaner is currently making more sense than you ever have in any of your inane postings.

Only if they are programmed to act like a human and even then there are sites like www.atari.org which are armed with software wired to its forums,to block such machinces from posting.Take a look yourself. And vacuum machines are not a artifical intelligent or lifeform.

Has anyone read about Poe's Law ? Poe's law states that is sometimes impossible to tell the difference online, between a satire and the real thing.
Am I real? Or just an elaborate parody of an internet troll? I will leave you to decide.
In a similar way one could pretend to be as thick as a whale omelette, in order to get a rise out of people and quite fun it would be too, trouble is one could be mistaken for the real thing. Who knows?

Back to thread. If the FB viral was the work of a machine then to prove that, will need an outside expert to prove this.If on the other hand its the work of person, then its a good example of chinese whispers.

You know that theory? The one that says if you gave a room full of chimps with typewriters enough time, they would produce the works of Shakespeare? Yeah well the FB viral was written by my vacuum cleaner so you can all stop worrying about it now. And I'm back on the meds but I don't think they're working yet.
