Posted by Bridgewood on Sun 8 May 2011 to the Open Air BDSM web board
The penultimate Bridgewood event day of 2011, from noon till about 6pm. Bridgewood is in North Shropshire, and has 19 acres of woodland and a kilometre of tracks available for open air scenes, pony play, socialising etc.
New visitors need to be vouched for by someone on Bridgewood's real-life network. Please ask the person vouching for you to memo @Tanos at least a week beforehand. The FAQ and Byelaws give more of an idea what these events are like.

Woo! I have been overlooking this one in preparation for October's, so it's nice to be reminded that it's not far away. Wahoo! So glad you're coming too!

We had a fantastic time!
Thank-you to @Tanos for being such an excellent host, and to @mia and @secretsmile_101 for making us feel so welcome. The lovely food and baking were perfect for the afterglow from play ![]()
It was great to be able to play in the woods, especially since the tree cover meant that we kept dry even though the rain was coming down in buckets!
I'm really looking forward to next time, and can't wait to get back there.

Here here-a really good day; fantastic weather, lovely cakes, nice music, beautful scenery, and of course, good people.
Thanks for the guided tour; rather ambitiously, I'd always assumed I could get round by Myself but after doing it, I soon realised I'd still be stuck in one of the ditches I kept finding, today, if I hadn't have had assistance.

It was nice to meet you HalloweenWhite.
I know getting round the ride will always be a bit tricky when you've got wheels with you. The ground was very soggy this weekend though, and there really aren't normally that many mole holes and tunnels!

Amazing weekend. Thanks everyone. Sorry for the short reply, just trying to stay awake long enough for my tea! ![]()

Hello secretsmile, it was great to meet you too; I like being able to put faces to avatars/screenames-I'm bit weird like that lol.
The ground was a bit soft in places, you're right, I forgot about that and I suppose it's like going through wet sand (if I was stupid enough to do that lol) so, like you say, the dry ground would be easier to get around on.
As for the mole holes and badger homes, there was one hole that was just the right size for one of My front castors to get stuck in and I managed to get wedged-backward between a ditch and a log and had to be half dragged/half pulled out of lol.
Sadder still to watch it die than never to have have known it.
Thank you for another lovely day
The woods, company and food were all excellent and I'm very much looking forward to October's event day xx
Resistance is futile.
I was really pleased with the way the stove has worked out, and the ability to cook inside the log cabin now - whatever the weather and without dodging smoke as the wind changes. Compared to last year where we just had one of those garden gazebos in case of rain showers, it's now so much more comfortable if the weather isn't perfect.
Next month should be something special to finish the season off, and then I go back to tree felling and ride widening during the winter ![]()
