Got a bench press personal best this week.... 157.5 kg!!!!
I'm going for 160 next week

I leg pressed quarter of a metric ton on the 45 degree leg press for four the other day and going for more next week...
Ran my first 10k last weekend, made it round in 45:19

Swam this weekend til I was very 'wrinkled prune' but without having my knee seize up or my calf cramp, so progress

Had my first injury this week. Pulled my lower back whilst doing squats and god it hurts. so for the last 5 days I've been off work and taking pain killers. Gutted. But I'm hoping to go back next week.

Did some deep knee squats... first time in >15 years and 2 knee operations!
And some press-ups balanced on a medecine ball.. first time in >7 years and 1 elbow operation
(and I have the muscular aches to prove it!)

Dead lift machine 200Kg 4 reps
Grip machine 100Kg 6 reps
Parallel dips 15-20
Press ups P.B. 110 in 60 secs, 40 one armed in 30 secs.

Beat my 5K PB again on Saturday, it's now 20:32.
It hurt to walk for a couple days after - nasty attack of DOMS.
Although I have been doing lots of cycling on the exercise bike as part of my knee surgery rehab, I haven't been on a "real" bike in oh... at least more than 10 years, possibly as much as 15 years!
Yesterday, my personal trainer took me cycling on a lovely secnd hand ladies Raleigh bike. He had chosen a lovely itinerary - kind of a country-side in the city route - which was fab.
We did probably about 12 miles in total. Yeah, I know it is not oodles, but it was the first time on a real bike in years, and the longest bike ride in even longer, and I thoroughly enjoyed it
So feeling very virtuous (if a little stiff and sore-bummed) today

Weigh in today 97 kg diet going well , PB on bench at this weight 230 kg single lift 530 this morning , felt good

I'm mildly upset that a couple of you guys have got waaaay stronger legs than me. It makes my 330kg on the leg press feel a long way short of the mark. Looks like I'd better get training....

I ran the Great South Run (10 miles) in 1 hour 13 minutes. I beat Iwan Thomas (current UK 400m record holder, Olympic silver medallist). I also beat Hugh Dennis.
