This rather useful caveat is appended to the end of the Thumbcuffs item.
It could be added to a lot of items, couldn't it? Would that be too clumsy?

Don't think so- not legally responsible. You might subsequently be held responsible, but one would hope that didn't happen.

If you're the top and they die, you're responsible. Various court cases have found so.
Think the caveat is basically saying 'hey, the IC dictionary isn't to blame if you fuck up'.
